Rancho BSL^® inició el cultivo de jitomate en la zona del Altiplano Potosino, además muchos otros cultivos.   La variedad Saladet, también conocida como Roma, sobre todo en Estados Unidos, ha sido la más rentable de todas las siembras, desde luego que, ahora con las nueva técnicas, hay muchas otras más similares a la tradicional "Toro" que han venido desplazando a ésta, como son los llamados "Indeterminados".

 Rancho BSL^® began growing tomatoes in the Potosi Plateau area, as well as many other crops. The variety Saladet, also known as Roma, especially in the United States has been the most profitable of all crops, of course, now with new techniques, there are many more similar to the traditional "Toro" which has being displacing it to the so-called "hybrid."

La selección y empaque de la fruta es importantísimo, pues depende de esto si puede obtenerse un precio mejor en el mercado.  Como se puede ver la selección final del producto, después de la labor mecanizada de las llamadas "cadenas" o "cribas" es manual, con lo que se le da ttrabajo a múltples habitantes de la zona.

The selection and packaging of the vegetables is very important, because it depends on the best price in the market. As you can see the final product selection, after the mechanical selection of size is done, the job is manually completed with the color and maturity of the vegetables, which gives work to many local inhabitants of this zone.
